If you have to ask "Who is Honey West?" perhaps you are not among friends here, but I will humor the question, nonetheless. Honey West was a fictional private detective first seen in print in 1957, having been created the year before by Forrest "Skip" Fickling and his wife Gloria (under the nom de plume G.G. Fickling, the "G.G." standing for Gloria Gautraud, which was her maiden name). Episode 19: It's Earlier Than You Think

And, again, gun shots ring out.  But this time the defenestratee is not Sam. It is a man (Bill Catching) dressed in a dark, 1860s-style suit. He wears a stove-pipe top hat and sports muttonchop sideburns. (Note: Catching was a professional stuntman; so, even though you cannot see his face at all times, this is likely to be his own stunt, but that is not certain. Still, expand the second picture below and tell me that is not Catching.) He falls over the railing of the porch and tumbles to the ground. (Note the pistol in his right hand.) Episode 7: The Princess and the Paupers

Previous:  Episode Six: Whatever Lola Wants....                          Next:  Episode Eight: In the Bag We open with a scene in a go-go club.  Suddenly, "Honey West" is in the 1960s after so many episodes that could have been set in the 1950s. While the go-go girls (a little too dressed)  gyrate , a long-haired band plays guitars on stage and sings a forgettable pop song. Left to right, Nino Candido, Bobby Sherman, and Michael J. Pollard   These are The Paupers. This is the first episode in which any men on "Honey West" wear their hair in the longish style of the mid-to late '60s. The band members are Nicky Van (Bobby Sherman), Marv (Nino Candido), and Jingles (Michael J. Pollard). They are the focus of the plot. At least Nicky and Jingles are. After the band leaves the stage, two thugs enter their dressing room, unceremoniously give each of them a beating, and then kidnap Nicky, leavin...
